Tour Details

This tour takes you to Masai mara for 3 nights/4 days by flight. Mara Eden Safari Camp is a small boutique camp on the banks of the great Mara river that offers

you an untamed wilderness experience. Hidden deep in the Maasai Mara game reserve, lies a magical, untouched and untamed valley with crocodiles basking on the banks of the river and hippos fighting for dominance against a backdrop of absolute wilderness. For centuries the great wildebeest migration has thundered through this hidden valley and crossed the Mara River. Sit out on the veranda of your tent and watch the magic of the African wilderness unfold before you.

This tour begins and end in Nairobi but can be tailored  to begin and end in Mombasa. The vehicle you use for game drive is always private and exclusive.

Flight timings will be advised on individual itinerary via email upon booking or enquiry.

  • Return airstrip transfers to/from Olkiombo airstrip in Masai Mara

Additional remarks

  • There is no electricity on budget camping
  • In budget camping, the campsites used are public. The cleaning of the toilets and showers is not managed or controlled by AFRICA LAST MINUTE
  • If clients delay arriving at the campsite they will also delay to get their meals as all the preparations are done on arrival
  • Yellow fever inoculation is currently mandatory (Please ask your doctor for any updated)
Itinerary

Day 1NAIROBI WILSON / MASAI MARA

This morning, fly to Masai Mara. Upon landing at Olkiombo airstrip, transfer by private vehicle to Mara Eden camp with en-route game stops until lunch time. Check-in at the camp and lunch is served. Relax for a while before you begin the afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at MARA EDEN SAFARI CAMP

Day 2 & 3MASAI MARA FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, collect your lunch boxes and begin your exciting days filled with game drives across the endless plains of Masai Mara searching for the Big five in one of Kenya’s most spectacular areas. In the Mara river, watch  out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at MARA EDEN SAFARI CAMP

You may choose to partake an optional hot air balloon at an additional cost on Day 3.

Day 4MASAI MARA / NAIROBI WILSON AIRPORT

Early morning game drive. Return for breakfast. Check-out and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi that departs at 11:15 Hrs. By 12:15 Hrs your flight lands at Nairobi Wilson Airport. Met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta airport. End of programme
