This tour takes you to Mountain lodge, samburu game reserve, Lake Nakuru and Masai mara.

Price Includes

  • 2 bottles of mineral water per client per day while on safari
  • Transport in a 7 seater safari minibus with pop-up roof for game viewing
  • Accommodation in the above mentioned camps and lodges in standard rooms on full board
  • 3 meals per person per day while on safari i.e. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Additional remarks

  • There is no electricity on budget camping
  • In budget camping, the campsites used are public. The cleaning of the toilets and showers is not managed or controlled by AFRICA LAST MINUTE
  • If clients delay arriving at the campsite they will also delay to get their meals as all the preparations are done on arrival
  • Yellow fever inoculation is currently mandatory (Please ask your doctor for any updated)
Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi / Mount Kenya

• Clients arrive in Nairobi according to their flight details
• Met by the driver guide and proceed to Mt. Kenya region
• Check in and lunch at the lodge
• Afternoon at leisure to watch animals from the terraces of your rooms
Dinner and Overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge

Day 2Mount Kenya / Samburu National Reserve

  • Breakfast at the lodge, drive to Samburu national reserve
  • Check-in and lunch is served
  • Afternoon game drive in the reserve at 15:30 Hrs
    Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 3Samburu

• Early morning game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge for breakfast
• Mid-Morning game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge for buffet lunch
• Enjoy a short siesta after lunch
• Afternoon game drive in the reserve
Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 4Samburu / Lake Nakuru

• Breakfast at the Lodge
• Collect picnic lunches and drive to Lake Nakuru National park with a stop at Thomson Falls for lunch
• After lunch, proceed to Lake Nakuru and enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to the lodge
Dinner and Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar

Day 5Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara

  • After breakfast, drive to masai mara game reserve
  • Check-in and lunch
  • Afternoon game drive in the reserve in search of the BIG FIVE
    Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 6Masai Mara

  • After breakfast, embark on a full day game drive. Remember to carry lunch boxes
  • Picnic Lunch along the river banks or under a tree
  • Afternoon game drive in the reserve
    Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 7Masai Mara / Nairobi

• Early morning game drive in the reserve. After breakfast, drive to Nairobi
• Late lunch at Tamambo Restaurant
• Drop off to your Nairobi Hotel

Included in the price: 4 x 4 Jeep transport, full board meals, park entrance fees, two bottles of mineral water per person per day, flying doctor air ambulance in case of medical emergency. Not included: Tips and gratuities, drinks inside the restaurants, telephone bills, laundry, visa, flight, or any cost of personal nature and not indicated in our programme.
